Scavengers Jess, Justin, Todd, and Kelly on the Loose!

As a final hurrah and good-bye to Wednesday dinners with Todd and Kelly, we decided to have a scavenger hunt. Justin and I came up with a list of 20 things, and Todd came up with a list of 10, and Kelly had a list of 10 (there was a bit of miscommunication as to what the teams were going to be) but we applied our soon-to-be-earned college degrees and decided on a gender war.

Kelly and Jess' Hunt
A silly tie; A waterfall; River Forest; Paranoia; Menu from an Italian Restaurant; Stripes; Carrying someone's groceries; A 2-syllable word on the cement; Holding a bouquet of fresh wild flowers; Making grass angels; Directing traffic; A yellow light; Having a wheelbarrow race in the street; A dented car; A flying pig; Balancing on a log (or rock) in a river; Wearing or holding 3 local souvenirs; Kelly giving an old man a high five; Someone wearing sunglasses; Creme Brulle

Kelly and I started out at the apartment and decided on walking to cute downtown. Along the way we found many of our "hunted" items. We ended up arriving back at the apartment first, followed shortly by the boys. We then shared experiences and pictures. Needless to say there was some discrepancy as to the things we found (what the heck is paranoia anyhow- we thought it meant something "Todd" like.) So, alas the boys supposedly "won" but who's to say that they didn't cheat (you were supposed to make the latte- and a stone fence? come on!) Once the picture sharing was over and done with, we partook in some Dirt Cake whose story was all its own. Justin sure did like it!It was a great night of fun, and of course we will miss them both very much next year, but St. Louis will now get to experience the joy of having Kelly and Todd explore its inner-most core.
