Happy Weekend!

This weekend Justin and I were banished from going to his house because his siblings were taking a car to their grandparents' in Florida. It turned out to be a great weekend though because we felt relaxed and under no pressure to go anywhere or do anything, and we seemed to get a whole lot more down than we do at home.

Friday, after I worked, we went grocery shopping to buy food for the weekend. We got back to campus around 615 only to find that the kitchen was taken. So rather than wait an hour to make Bowtie Pasta with Butternut Squash and Walnuts, we meandered over to Coburg, only to discover that Coburg has no utensils. Grrr...we gave up on the dish and just reheated pizza.

Saturday, we made a brunch of pancakes and potatoes with Danni and Thomas, and then headed off to do some errands. We hit up Bayshore, where I bought a new shirt on sale at Banana, and then stopped at Alterra to rest and have some coffee and take some pictures of the latte art. We then headed back to school where we made the dish from the night before, and then watched Rendition. (Great move- rent it!)

Sunday, we went to church, relaxed, made dinner, and then baked some brownies.

To hear more check out J's blog (when...if he blogs).

Is that the NEW Coburg that you were writing about? How is it (minus lacking cooking utensils)? Is the kitchen nice??

We miss the shopping center at Bayshore -- that place was awesome! Have you and J gone to the Potbelly Sandwich place? Except for the name, it's a really cool place.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!

Yes it is the NEW Coburg which I referenced in my blog. The kitchen is small and as of right now it's cleaner than any other kitchen on campus. It's a bummer though that they are going to make us pay extra to live there next year.

No, we have not been to Potbelly Sandwich, but the next time we are searching for a good, quick bite we will check it out!
