HSM 3

In an attempt to relieve stress, and bond with my roommates, we chose to go see High School Musical 3 on Sunday as a room. We invited other friends who were interested in seeing it as well. Try as I might, Justin refused to see it with me, but that did not hinder me from enjoying myself.

As I sat watching the movie, listening to the music, and envying the dance moves, I found myself relating to the movie in many ways. The plot line of HSM 3 is that the class is graduating from highschool and forced to face their future away from one another. Some know what they want to do while, others have no clue, and still others only want to please their parents. They set out to do one last musical production about their personal lives in hopes of reminding one another that friends are friends forever.

With the end of college close at hand, I realize that I too will be leaving some friends behind, embracing a future that I am unsure of, but trusting that God knows what He's doing in my life, and that is exciting. I also know that I will be with the man I love, and that makes me happy beyond words.

So, here's to HSM 3 and creating friendships that will last a lifetime.
