Fun on Spider Lake

In an event to have some fun amidst the stress, hard work, and sadness of this past week my Uncle invited my family over to his cabin yesterday (Friday) for an afternoon of fun on the lake. Hannah and I cleaned rooms in the morning and then stopped by the new bank in town where there was a free barbecue, headed home to gather our lake-wear, and headed to Spider Lake.

When we arrived my aunt and uncle were headed out the "swim island" with their renters from next door and so they gave us time to change and then came back to pick us up. It was only about 70 degrees out, but the water was about 78 and therefore it wasn't too bad.

We boated out to the swim island to meet the renters and then relaxed with our feet in the water and our faces to the sun. Finally, it came time for Hannah and I to go tubing!!

We stuck around for dinner and one final boat ride and then headed home around 9:30 to go to sleep!!
