It's Christmas Time in the City...

Saturday marked the 7th of December which meant that it was time for Roommate Christmas- a day filled with shopping at Bayshore, cookie baking, White Christmas watching, Christmas light looking, and Christmas caroling around the dorms.

Candy Cane Lane was of course the point of destination for the lights:

All bundled up for a cold night

Isn't that a familiar site?

What's missing from this scene?

Sorry kids Santa got stuck in an igloo

Whoops...Danni fell down (or was she pushed?)

Cute couple picture, minus one couple

Needless to say we all needed a break before finals. Revisiting Candy Cane Lane sure made us homesick for our friends down in St. Louis and all the crazy poses with the lights.

Merry Christmas and God bless us everyone!

Candy Cane Lane was not as much fun this year. Maybe next year some people who know how to have fun could join us. That is if they are not stuck in a few inches of ice.

Apart from the fact that it was a lot colder than when we went with T/K, there was snow on the ground which maybe hindered the group from being so crazy, but then again they're not T/K...bummer.

I was looking at our Candy Cane Lane pictures tonight!!! Ha! Then I checked your blog!

Remember when I made us read A Christmas Carol during the car ride??? Sorry for that ;-)

Happy finals week!

tleaf- funny thing about A Christmas Carol...Jasmine was telling me one day in class how her family sits around and reads it together. So, I went home for Thanksgiving and told my mom that her family reads it every year (because my mom LOVES the story) and so she got all excited and decided that we're going to do it too!

So, I guess it wasn't too bad that we read it in the car- it served as preparation for many other readings yet to come.

One more final tomorrow and I'm done! YAY!!

Why not just watch the movie every year? That would be more efficient.

Yes, that would be more efficient but then there are so many versions that we'd have to watch them all just to see which one gives the best rendition of the book. *sigh* Sounds like work...we could just go and watch the play!!
