It's beginning to look a lot like winter...

It's strange, growing up I always remember getting snowed on in about the middle of October and then it would stick around until the middle of April. But for the last few years now the snow has held off until November and sometimes even December!

Well, December 1 marked WI's first big snowfall, and it happened over Christmas at Concordia, go figure (exactly what happened last year). We were out at J's house and planning on returning in time for the concert, but it had been snowing for 8 hours at least. We made it to the gas station, decided the snow was a little too dangerous to risk our lives in and the concert wasn't that important, so we turned around and staying inside to wait out the storm. It proved to be a relaxing evening of family-bonding time around The Santa Clause so it was well worth it!

Perhaps I would wish hard for a snow day tomorrow but considering it's not too hard for me to get to class I better plan on getting up anyway.

I have driven in some bad weather before, but that was the worst winter weather I have attempted to drive in. Freezing rain is not my friend!

Oooooo, well then you will LOVE St. Louis, my friend. Freezing rain is our specialty!

So sad that you missed Christmas at Concordia!! Kelly and I were pretty sad that we couldn't be there, too. So I'm glad we're in the same boat at least.

Oh, and Happy One Year Anniversary of Watching The Nativity and Driving Around and Looking at Christmas Lights and Getting Hot Chocoloate from Caribou Coffee and Reading Lame Stories!

J~ Ya, I'm thankful that you're a good driver but no amount of good driving would have been good enough in that storm. Glad we stayed inside! We should move somewhere warm...tomorrow!

T~ I'm impressed that you remember almost to the date what day we did all that fun stuff last year. :-)

That would also mean that it was one year since we drove down Justin Lane which was the Lamest Lane of Christmas lights ever!
